Integrity First for America Executive Director Amy Spitalnick released the following statement on the new lawsuit filed today by the DC Attorney General:

“At a moment of rising extremism, major threats to our democracy, and far too little justice, we’re heartened that our Charlottesville case continues to serve as a model for accountability.

"Last month’s victory in Charlottesville court sent a clear message of the major financial, operational, and legal consequences for violent extremism. We know that civil lawsuits have the potential to bankrupt and dismantle hate groups and their leadership — and help prevent them from striking again.

"There’s so much work ahead. Kudos to Attorney General Racine and all of his partners in this important effort.”

Last month, a Charlottesville jury awarded multi-million dollar judgments against the defendants in IFA’s Charlottesville lawsuit, holding them accountable for their racist, antisemitic conspiracy to engage in violence during Unite the Right.
