Once in a generation, there is a trial that fundamentally changes our nation. We're taking on the leadership of the violent white supremacist movement – sending a clear message that violent hate has no place in our country.

Trial Details

Nearly four years to the day that our lawsuit was filed against the white supremacist leaders and hate groups that organized the "Unite the Right" violence in Charlottesville, Sines v. Kessler went to trial on October 25 in the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia.

The jury trial was calendared for four weeks, with Judge Norman K. Moon presiding. Closing arguments were presented on November 18 and the jury is currently in deliberations.
